Whipple One-Name Study

Welcome to the study of Whipples and their descendants—everywhere. Many descend from three Whipples who arrived in America's Massachusetts Bay Colonies in the 1630s. The first, a teenager named John, arrived in Dorchester in 1632. Six years later, in 1638, two middle-aged brothers, Matthew and John, arrived in Ipswich.
