Noah Bean, Actor

I received an email yesterday, telling me about Whipple cousin Noah Bean, who appears on the TV series Damages. (Hmmm… When was the last time I watched TV? I still have a television, don’t I? Does it still work?) Our cousin who sent this information says that Noah is the son of Ruth Harriet Whipple (/tng/getperson.php?personID=I121022&tree=whipple).

Noah appears in the Internet Movie Database, in Wikipedia, and elsewhere on the ‘net. Good luck in your career, Noah!
(By the way, when I first visited Ruth’s page, I immediately noticed a privacy bug in the program that generates the Whipple Genweb. I had to fix it last night, before posting this blog entry … 🙂

  1. That would mean he, Noah is related to Walter Wipple, Ty Hardin and Joel Albert McCrea all actors. Although they would be distant – distant cousins, removed who knows how many times.

    The only reason I know this is my Daughter is a newly minted actor (Elisa Lutz) and I was checking out relatives. Those actors turn out to be related distant-distant cousins.

    Noah is related to Noah Whipple older brother to my direct relative Nathan Whipple 1759.

    Thought this might inspire her! It does seem to show certain patterns of interests and talents. No royalty, but lots of history and lots of fun.

  2. I notice that Monty Clift (http://whipple.org/38568) is also an actor, though descended from the Ipswich Whipples. He acted in Freud (1962), Judgment at Nuremberg (1961), Raintree County (1957), From Here to Eternity (1953), Red River (1948), and The Search (1948) … that I am aware of.

    I'm still hoping that we can eventually connect the Ipswich and Rhode Island whipples …???
