I just received a note from Mona Leigh (a descendant of Captain John Whipple and his wife Sarah (of Providence, Rhode Island). Mona writes:

Last night on Coast To Coast AM radio program they played a song off of my album, “Comes The Light” in their “Emerging Artist” segment.

I’m hoping that people showing interest might persuade them to play another of my tunes at some point, and since they have 10 million listeners every night, it could be good for CD sales. (By the way, I just visited the iTunes store and searched for Mona Leigh. I found two albums: “One Night in the City” and “Comes the Light.” I already have a copy of “One Night in the City,” so I purchased “Comes the Light.”)
