- Witness (Apr 1799): Rutherford County, NC, Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, April Court 1799: PRAY WHIPPLE proved a deed from DRURY LOGAN and JOSHUA ROBERTS to ANDREW LOGAN containing 110 acres bearing date 17th Day of January 1799 in order to be registered. --Rutherford County, North Carolina, Minutes, Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, 1799-1817, 5 vols. - Patroller (1803): Robertson Co., TN: Wm. Atkins, James Atkins, Robert Perry, PRAY WHIPPLE, John Foster, John Yoes, Wm. Gossett ordered to be patrollers for Capt Blackwell's Co., they shall meet and ride at least once a month and oftener if they think necessary.----Court Minutes

- Witness (1808): Montgomery Co., TN: Pray Whipple proved 23 miles from home to trial at Clarksville, where he was witness, along with Isaac Dortch, Thomas Martin, Elias Lawrence and Zachariah Grant (all of whom lived near Port Royal).
