He and Thomas Chittocke, husband of his sister Julyan, acquired property in October 1572 from Edward Grymston esq. of Rys-Angles, Suffolk. The property was in Crauley, Suffolk. William may have married a third time. On September 14, 1590, he and John Thurston, esq., probably a brother-in-law, were defendants in a case filed by Margery Bradlaughe, alias, Jacobb, at Laxfeild, Suffolk. The complaint concerned the sale of premises in Badingham, Suffolk called Menhaugh Wood. Agnes Derehaughg, afterwards, Agnes Whipple, wife of William Whipple, was mentioned. Thomas Whipple, age 54, of Dickleborough, testified on behalf of William.
