Dateline Gagetown, Michigan: William H Whipple of this place, died Saturday evening, aged 90 years, his wife's death occurred about two months ago, the funeral service was held at the M P Church Monday at 2 pm and the remains were laid to rest in the Grant Cemetery. Strange it may seem, their deaths brought no mourners, they had no children and had no relatives here, they were among the early settlers over 30 years ago and was highly respected by all that knew them.
