  !SOURCE: Email from Judith Cox Whipple (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 15 Feb 2012. She writes: I have some new Whipple information about our Disconnected Joseph Whipple b. 1752 Sharon CT. This info is wrong. I found his parents and birth date, but now am just as stuck with them! I can’t connect them to any of the many nearby Whipple families. The new info is: Joseph Marks Whipple, born August 24, 1752 in Greenwich, Hampshire Co. MA . Parents: Jonathan and Anne Whipple. (Source: Greenwich, (Mass) Births, Marriages, Deaths, 1747-1900, LDS FHC #0186151, Item 1, Births, np). At two years of age he was adopted by John and Mary (Wheeler, Kidder) Marks of Greenwich, Hampshire Co., MA (Source: Vital Records of Hardwick, Massachusetts to the Year 1850 (Boston, NEHGS, 1917) p74.
