Tom writes: "Eleanor Mary Whipple, wife of MajGen Amiel Weeks Whipple is buried beside her husband at Proprietors Burying Ground, Portsmouth, NH." In a second note written the same day, Tom adds: "I visit the gravesite a couple of times a year.
