  !SOURCE: Email from B. Huckins to Weldon Whipple, 17 Feb 2018. "An  Augustus  Whipple married Margaret Agnes Desmond Oct 30, 1913. She is given as the wife of Augustus in internet trees, however,  this was likely not the wife of the father but the son whose name was George Augustus or George Augustine. George's draft card lists a Margaret as his wife and also in  the census. George A. and Margaret D. Whipple are buried together in St Joseph's Cemetery in Harvard Illinois.  Margaret was born 1887 and died 1976.  George and Margaret adopted a daughter Betty June Whipple born in 1919.  'B. June'  died in 1999 and is buried with them. George died in 1977."
