It could be surmised that, before her marriage to Joel Peck, Kezia and ? Whipple had a daughter, Lucy, born about 1778-1780, as she married in 1798. That would make Lucy (Whipple) Swan the niece of Mary/Marcy/Mercy (Ballou) {45057} Metcalf and 'fit' with the others mentioned in Marcy Metcalf's will. Possibly Kezia and ? Whipple were not married when Lucy was born, as Kezia's marriage record to Joel Peck lists her as 'Kezia Ballou, of Noah, of Cumberland.'"
