!SOURCE: Email from N. Combs to Weldon Whipple, 10 Mar 2005. Cites Vital Records of Hamilton, Essex, MA. "[WHIPPLE, ] ---,s. Daniel, Nov. 30, 1830." (Could this birth entry refer to Charles?)

!SOURCE: Photo of gravestone submitted by Jon Stark (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 31 Jul 2006. Adds middle initial and death year.

!SOURCE: Email from Beverly H (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 6 Jul 2020. Adds complete death date and place. "Charles may have been married three times. His daughter Sarah was born in 1859 and she was with him in the 1860 census, no wife at that time. I don't know when he married Elizabeth/Lizzie/Eliza Moulton or if she was Sarah's mother. ... Charles was first a blacksmith and later a carriage manufacturer of Peabody Mass. He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Danvers for over 55 yrs. He had an interest in genealogy as did his son Daniel 'Henry'."
