    • !SOURCE: Email from email hidden to the Whipple Website, 26 Mar 2002. Reports that Simeon's father, David, was in Oakland County, Brandon Township, Michigan in the 1845 census for that county, as well as the 1850 and 1860 censuses. In the 1870 census he is no longer listed as the head of household, but his son Seneca Prosser Whipple (Simeon's brother) is listed as head instead.
