George Hoyt Whipple (1878-1976), who received the 1934 Nobel Prize for Medicine, was born in Ashland, New Hampshire, in the home pictured above. The home is now the Whipple House Museum, operated by the Ashland Historical Society, Ashland, NH 03217.
