    • !SOURCE: Email from N. Combs to Weldon Whipple, 23 May 2003. Norma writes: "The 1855 NY census has the following record:
      Whipple, Harvey L. {79353}, age 23, born Saratoga Co., NY, a laborer, living with, and grandson of, Amos Town, age 80, born MA {abt 1775}, farmer, resident of Saratoga Co. 56 yrs., and his wife Rhoda, age 73, born RI {abt 1782}, resident of Saratoga Co. 63 yrs. I think we can safely say that Amos and Rhoda Town are the parents of Amy Town {10416}.
