On Aug. 19, 1870 an Otis Whipple, farmer, age 58, b. NH was enumerated on the Hancock, Hillsborough, NH census along with Tryphina Whipple, age 59, b. NH (a second wife?). This Otis could be the Otis Whipple who was 39 on the 1850 census. Also, on June 22, 1860 John F. Whipple, age 14, and his brother William F. Whipple, age 13, were included in the household of Sarah [Yander], age 65, in the 6th ward Nashua, Hillsborough, NH.
