  !SOURCE: Email from Rainwaters Henry (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 18 May 2004. The email reads: AARON and FORTUNE were both "purchased" by Colonel Joseph Whipple of Providence, Rhode Island. Aaron was wed to INDIAN WOMAN SARAH MUCKAMUG in the presence of one William Page. From this union came, AARON aka Joseph Aaron born in 1738, Cumberland, Rhode Island. FORTUNE was also "married" to SARAH MUCKAMUG and from this union came a daughter named Sarah Burney. All of the above is documented evidence, and I will later give you the sources, if you should need them. My family descends from the above unions and we are mixed Wampanoag/Nipmuck Indians. My line comes down from AARON and we are known as the JOSEPHs descending from AARON. I suppose he was known at times as Joseph's Aaron and or Aaron Joseph and or Aaron Whipple.
