Blue had separate records in the database. Mary Eddy was married to Michael Whipple (parents unknown); Mary E. Blue (parents unknown) was married to Michael Whipple (of known parentage). Joe writes: At Ancestry World Tree, Mary Eddy is listed as a spouse of Michael Whipple. They show her DOB as 1825, but in the 1830 census for Madison County, NY, Elias Eddy, Mary's father, lists a female in the 10-15 year range and none younger. In the 1850 census, Mishael's [sic] wife Mary list her age as 32. Can we be certain this is Mary Eddy and not Mary Blue? No, but at some point we have to let what appears to be obvious rule the day.
