Gravestone of Luther Whipple, 1844-1907

"The graves of Luther and Eunice Whipple are in White Cloud, Michigan's village cemetery. Whipple Cemetery is in Home Township--About 6 to 12 miles from the town of White Cloud on a country road. It is on the land that Luther Whipple lived on and homesteaded. To my knowledge there are no Whipples there, only the name for whom the land was given. Amos, Walter, Daniel and William all lived on farms adjacent to this land purchased after the Civil War." --Walter Jendrzejewski
